La Nouvelle Vague, également connue sous le nom de French New Wave, est un mouvement cinématographique français né à la fin des années 1950. Il se caractérise par un rejet des conventions cinématographiques traditionnelles au profit de l'expérimentation et d'un esprit iconoclaste, explorant de nouvelles techniques et narrations. Cette session, nous analyserons 7 films sélectionnés par la classe de certains réalisateurs suivants : Jean-Luc Godard, François Truffaud, Claude Chabrol, Agnès Varda, Éric Rohmer, Louis Malle, Jacques Rivette, Jacques Demy, Alain ResnaisTous en scène: Silence, Moteur, Action!

HYBRID CLASSES / CLASS MATERIALS / ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS

• We are offering HYBRID CLASSES for all classes/all sessions. HYBRID means you may take the same exact course IN-PERSON or ONLINE, your CHOICE! (10 students per class maximum) No need to notify us, you may show up in person or online (via Zoom), this is your decision for the 8-week session. We have equipped our classrooms to accommodate both in-person and remote participants. “La liberté, c’est de pouvoir choisir". 
•  If you would like to assess your LEVEL OF INSTRUCTION, we invite you to take our free online placement evaluations. (homepage on our website). Once the right level of instruction recommended & enrolled, you will be receiving class materials (lesson plans in pdf format) and Zoominstructions 24hours prior to your first class session.
